Report a Safeguarding Concern

At LCK Academy, your safety, dignity, and well-being matter. This page is a confidential space where students, staff, and members of our wider community can report any incidents of bullying, harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, or related safeguarding concerns.

Whether you choose to report anonymously or request direct support, we are here to listen and act without judgment, pressure, or delay. We follow UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and align our safeguarding approach with the higher education best practice.

What You Can Report

You can use this form to report:

  • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual behaviour
  • Sexual assault or coercion
  • Bullying, intimidation, or degrading behaviour
  • Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Inappropriate relationships involving a power imbalance

Your Reporting Options

We understand that reporting can feel difficult. You have control over how you report and what happens next.

You can choose to report via below mentioned options:

  1. Anonymous Report: Share what happened without giving your name. We will still take it seriously and use it to identify wider patterns of harm.
  2. Request Support: Ask to speak to a trained member of our Safeguarding Team in confidence. They will support you and explain your options.
  3. Named Report (Formal): Provide full details so we can investigate the matter formally. You can request wellbeing and academic support.

You do not have to decide straight away whether to take formal action.

What Happens After You Report
  • Your report is received by our Designated Safeguarding Lead in confidence.
  • You will be contacted (if you have asked for follow-up).
  • You will be supported to explore your rights, options, and wellbeing support.
  • If required, we will carry out a fair, trauma-informed investigation.

We take all reports seriously. Our goal is to support you, safeguard others, and uphold fairness.
